Grand Ole Opry
I sent this picture to someone last night and I was appalled when they responded: "What is that?" Oh no. So for all of you that don't know that Grand Ole Opry is a radio show that broadcasts every Friday, Saturday and Tuesday night. It goes on the AM station WSM 650, but it just so happens that they have a live audience during this show. Artists from every decade come to the Opryhouse to perform on the show and we got a chance to see it last night. It was really neat to see just how much talent there really is in this town. We saw a few old timers and some up-and-comers. It was really fun. To be inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry is arguably the biggest honor a country music artist can achieve. The next person to be inducted is Josh Turner (one of my favorites) on October 27th. I would just be honored to play there one day...
We are having fun here and the conference is actually really good. Thanks for the prayers and I will see you all soon.
Love you guys.

Appalled isn't that a little harsh?
Sorry but while a certain someone was studying up on country music and the history behind it, a certain someone else was studying double plays and switch hitting, being the jock that this certain someone is and all! I bet if a certain someone sent a certain someone else pictures of the Field of Dreams in Texas or maybe the Field of Oahu, in Hawaii or how about a field in Colorado or Louisana, maybe Utah or Arizona, a certain someone might say "What is that, too." Keep sending the pictures to a certain someone, keep trying to educate that certain someone because maybe someday that certain someone will get a chance to VISIT the great state of Tennessee and recognize some of these historical places. I'm sure that certain someone would look forward to seeing a certain someone else out on the field someday and when that certain someone does, I would hope that certain someone would not use the word appalled!!
That certain someone is pretty insistent :)
Glad you're having fun. Seen Kenny Chesney's keyboard player yet?
Hey you...are you back yet? I haven't talked to you in so long. Hope Nashville was everything you knew it'd be and more!
Everyday I find myself checking your blog. I really wish you would post a little more often...hope you can find time in that busy schedule of yours :)
